The photos in this collection relate to a field trip of the Northwest Geological Society on June 1, 2019 to a dunite quarry on Twin Sisters Mountain. It includes views of the quarry, participants, and surrounding countryside.
The two green mountain scenes are photos taken from the quarry, looking across the Middle Fork of the Nooksack River.
There was a side trip to a location in the Chuckanut Mountains where there is an outcrop of the rare mineral stopnomelane.
